Graphic Design: 

Assists the organization in creating engaging, and on-brand graphic artwork for the website, social media, advertisement, outreach, and email communications to capture the attention of LTP’s target audience and communicate the message of the brand and mission.

Goals:

  • Works closely with Marketing Team, fellow Graphic Artists, Enterprise Team, and Event Team to create and ensure consistent messages, branding, and products

  • Designs and prints electronic media such as graphics and logos 

  • Designs templates, photos, and graphics for website, email marketing, newsletters, mailing materials, and more!

  • Stays up to date on technology and image editing software

  • Interviews, hires, and trains design staff members

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements

  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints

  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand

  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design

  • Test graphics across various media

  • Amend designs after feedback

  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

  • Create processes for defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos

Learning Objectives:

  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)

Email Marketing Manager:

Assists the organization in communicating via email to LTP’s email audience - donors, volunteers, board members, newsletter recipients.

Goals: 

  • Create email marketing strategy, paying attention to newsletters, holidays, events, and sales 

  • Create and schedule emails to be sent to correct audience (newsletter sign-ups only, volunteers only, board members only, etc) 

  • Ensure connection of MailChimp and website is working properly 

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency

  • Create content for each email campaign - communicating with necessary members of the team to obtain accurate information

Advertisement:

Assists the organization in creating marketing materials such as business cards, info cards, posters, flyers, brochures, etc and developing unique and exciting campaigns.

  • Takes inventory of marketing materials, ordering more if needed
