Volunteer and Intern Interest

*We are currently in the process of receiving funding to provide a building for our offices and housing. In the meantime, we can get you on the list, begin training, and volunteering in areas such as administration, events, products, awareness, social media, marketing, security, case management, social work, and fundraising!

The Process:

1. Complete Volunteer Application Form

2. Complete Background Check or send in a recent background check (conducted within the past two years) if applicable

3. Complete Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement

4. Attend Volunteer/Intern Orientation and/or Interview

5. Complete ACE Test (voluntary) 

6. Send in TB Test Results (residential volunteers only)

8. Submit copy of valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance (for volunteer drivers only) 

9. Start volunteering!

Background Checks

To ensure the safety and confidentiality of everyone in the Little Tree Project community, background checks will be required for certain volunteer positions. If the position gives a volunteer access to Little Tree Project documents, information, policies, procedures, locations, staff/volunteer/intern contact information, donor information, financial information, and/or survivor/resident information, a recent background check will be required (within two years).

An opportunity to conduct a new background check or upload a recent check will be presented in the volunteer application.
